About the Clans

In my books, I've made my own clans as you know. I just felt like I needed to describe their personalities a little bit, just so you can get a better image in your head.

JungleClan- Very protective of what is theirs. Great hunters, and they NEVER back down from a challenge, especially if it's from NightClan. NightClan and JungleClan are complete ENEMIES. They're fiesty and cans sometimes be a little snappy. Other then the bad things, they're clever and strong and can sometimes be good-hearted.

NightClan- There's many words to discribe NightClan...fierce, easily-irratated, can become angry very quickly. They're secretive, shadowy and suspicious, and don't you dare cross their border! NightClan will launch an attack with any excuse they can get. On the good side, they can climb well and they're fighting skills are quite excelled.

GrassClan- This clan is a more gentle, calm and relaxed, but don't hunt on their turf or you'll be crow-food. They're fast, loyal and great jumpers! They're long and lean body shapes help with chasing swift rabbits and catching quick birds on their grassy lands.

SkyClan- SkyClan tends to be gentle, but when it comes to a challenge they don't back down. They're pretty good climbers and are very fast. Their prey varries from where they hunt. Loyal and strong they are, and devoted to the clan the life.

Ideas

I have some ideas for my Warriors books, and you can comment and tell me what you think of them.

One idea I have, is that Nightclan blames Jungleclan for their own crimes. There'll be a lot of battles, and Brokenstar, leader of Nightclan, will become very angry at Jungleclan. The thing he's upset about is, Blackstar, leader of Jungleclan, stole his dead loved one's last kitten for revenge. That will be a very big battle. Hope you liked the idea, ~Jumpingfawn

Sorry

Sorry! I can't remember all of the code, and until I find it all out I can't post it up. So, I don't know when you'll get to see it, hopefully soon.

Leader's Name

When a deputy becomes a leader, they must travel far and speak with StarClan (the Clans' warrior ancestors). After the ceremoney with Starclan, that accured the new leader's dream, they're name would be changed.

Example: Jumpingfawn, if she became leader, it'd be, JumpingSTAR. "star" comes over the first part of the cat's name.

Here's some more names, to help you understand how it works.

When a kit is born, the mother names it. She can name it whatever she wants, and the kit's anme would have "kit" after it. Example: Jumpingkit.

When a kit becomes an apprentice, the "kit" in their name would become "paw". Example: Jumpingpaw.

And when an apprentice becomes a warrior, the leader picks a second part of the name that best fits that cat. Example: Jumpingfawn. Then, the name stays like that, unless the cat becomes leader, which I already told you about that. Even when a cat becomes deputy, that name stays the same.

The Warrior Code

The Warrior Code is very important to the Clans, although it has been broken many times. Long ago, things happened that made the Warriors make a law, a law that would save the Clans from many battles or tragities.

The Warrior Code

1- When the leader dies or retires, the deputy must take his/her place.

2- When the deputy dies or retires, a new one must be apointed BEFORE moon-high.

3- When a kit is six moons old, he/she must become an apprentice.

4- For a warrior to become the new deputy, they must have mentored at least one apprentice.

I'm not going to write the whole Code today, so that's all for now! Until next time, ~Jumpingfawn

Just A Reminder

By the way, remember there'll be a new post every WEDNESDAY. So don't forget to check jungleclanterritory.blogspot.com on that day to read the new post! ~Jumpingfawn

DANGER!

I've decided not to write the Warrior Code on this post, but the NEXT one. Here's a Mini Story called, DANGER. Now we go back, long ago, in JungleClan territory...

On one fine newleaf (Spring time) day, in Jungleclan territory, Hunterclaw, a brown-furred tom, was joining the sun-high (mid-day) patrol. He was a warrior, yes, a strong one. His dark green eyes glittered bright in the sunlit camp.
He sat next to Forestpelt and Ravenpaw, some of his Clanmates.
"Where is Flameclaw?" growled Ravenpaw. Flameclaw was the deputy of JungleClan. "Isn't he supposed to lead the patrol?"
"Yes," Hunterclaw sighed. "He's late...again."
"I bet he's with Rainstar," Rainstar was the leader of JungleClan. "he always is." Forestpelt hissed.
"I'm here." Flameclaw came trotting up to the patrol, his ginger striped pelt glowing in the sun.
"About time!" Hunterclaw meowed.
"Rainstar had important news for me. Top secret." Flameclaw meowed.
"Well, let's get going. We don't have until moon-high!" Ravenpaw mewed.
"You are correct, young apprentice. Let's go."
They bounded out of the camp and out into the bushy jungle. They ran along, catching some prey along the way. They tracked passed the SkyClan border line, toward the panther's den. Yes, there was a panther living in JungleClan territory. And it was newleaf, so there would be cubs. The patrol was to make sure the cubs were not born here, to chase the mother away before she has her babies.
Hunterclaw sniffed around the panther den. Milk. Hmm...the mother panther must've already had her cubs!
"Milk scent!" spat Hunterclaw, alerting the others.
"Ugh! Now there's panther cubs running around!" hissed Flameclaw. "Let's try and find them."
The patrol explored all through their territory, but all they found was more scent. They gave up soon, and began tracking back to the camp.
Hunterclaw padded behind Flameclaw quietly, just staring at the ground. His stomach suddenly rumbled.
Snap! Crack...crack...
Hunterclaw heard the noise behind him, and he whipped around. Nothing was there. He thought he had heard something walked behind him...oh well. He padded on.
The patrol walked into camp, and headed for the fresh-kill (recently killed prey) pile.
"PANTHER CUBS!" a cat suddenly shreiked, making Hunterclaw jump into the air. He landed and looked around quickly.
In the entrance of the camp, were two, big, lumbering panther cubs. They weren't being agressive, they sort even looked like they just wanted someone to play with.
They barged right in and scampered into the middle of camp. Every cat was still like statues.
"No b-body move," Flameclaw meowed. "I don't think they mean any harm." Suddenly, a much, much bigger black shape charged into the camp. The mother panther.
Her jaws were open, her lips were curled, showing all of her pearly white fangs. The panther spat and hissed, and let out a terriflying snarl.
"Attack!" Hunterclaw heard Rainstar yowl. He leaped into battle, along with many other warriors beside him.
Hunterclaw landed on the panther's back, and he dug his claws in. He held on tight while the panther turned and twisted around, swatting at other cats.
The mother panther turned her head around, her yellow gaze locked on Hunterclaw. She flipped over in the air, and swung her paws at him. Hunterclaw lost his grip and fell to the ground.
He rolled out of the way of the panther's massive paws, and ran to Rainstar.
"I think she thinks we've stolen her cubs! But really they just followed the patrol here!" she hissed.
"The cubs think we're playing with them," Hunterclaw panted, watching the cubs jumpa round with the frightened warriors. "Maybe if we show them we're not playing around, they'll run off! Then m-maybe the mother will follow them!"
"Worth a shot," Rainstar meowed, darting forward toward the cubs.
Hunterclaw watched Rainstar attack the cub, scratching it's muzzle. The cub squeaked and ran off out of the camp. The other cub followed.
The mother panther dashed off after her babies.

Later on, after the battle with ther panthers, Hunterclaw was rewarded for his brilliant plan to get the panthers away.

And that's the end of the DANGER Mini Story! Hoped you liked it, until next time. ~Jumpingfawn

The Clans

In the forest, there are four Clans. In the real books, not the ones I have written, these are the Clans.

ThunderClan- fierce and brave

RiverClan- clever and strong

ShadowClan- wily and proud

WindClan- swift and loyal

Now, in MY books, there are...

JungleClan- protective and clever

GrassClan- quick and bold

NightClan- agressive and proud

Skyclan- smart and good-hearted

That's all! Soon, on my next post, I'll have the Warrior Code. That's the law that the Clans' live by. Without the code, things would fall apart! And many cats would die. Until next time, ~Jumpingfawn

Kit Steps

Ah, the first post of my new Warrior Cat Fan blog! We'll be taking it easy, for the new Warrior Cats out there. On this blog, I'll be posting ideas for my own Warrior Cat books, and maybe even you can share some ideas too! I'll post Mini Stories also, just for fun. I'll post glossaries, so you can understand Warrior Talk, I call it, because if you've never read the Warriors books you'd probably be very confused with language I use. I'll post a little bit now.

apprentice- a young cat training to become a warrior.

warrior- an official member of his/her Clan.

elder- a retired warrior or queen.

queen- a she-cat expecting kits or already has kits.

she-cat- a female cat

tom- a male cat

medicine cat- a cat that is chosen to cure the sick or injured

kit- a kitten

deputy- the leader's assistant; a second in command cat

leader- the she-cat or tom that leads the clan

That's all for today! Keep checking my blog for more new Warrior Cat posts! ~Jumpingfawn
